Yeah, 2nd/3rd weeks of October were best for fall colors & apples! I hope you're enjoying Red & Golden Delicious & Jonathans & Galas &....I better stop! :)
Have you guys been up Old Rag yet? Or White Oak Canyon falls? My favorite hikes back there!
John has been to Old Rag, but I haven't. I don't think we've been to the canyon falls either. We should check that out.
I did make a delicious apple pie last week. Lots of yummy apples for sale on the side of the road.
We always love seeing the new photos of the kids.

Great pictures! I love the one from Skyline Drive. They are the cutest kids and are the spitting image of the two of you.
Lorena-I miss those Shenandoah Valley apple stands! The sweet aroma of rows & rows of bushels of apples! Free cider on a day as cold & crisp as a Golden Delicious with just a blush of red on one side...sigh....
