e service. It was John's turn to entertain and baby was enjoying sucking on his finger. John looked at me and told me that he felt a tooth. Although he was really excited and had me feel for the tiny bumps that were poking up through her gums, I was a little sad. I really like having her as a baby and don't want her to get older. I know I will enjoy her more as she gets older, but I don't really KNOW that yet. It was exciting to feel the baby tooth in her mouth, but it made me sad. Maybe I need to have another one so I can let Annelise get older! As for the hair situation...it is sad. She is getting more hair, but it is very apparent that she has my hairline. Sometimes she looks like she has a mohawk. She still looks pretty bald to me.
John is assisting with a kayak roll session tonight so Annelise and I get to go to a basketball game together. "And who is playing?" you ask. "Why it is the amazing Dukies! How could you even ask?" Yes, Annelise gets to see her first Duke game tonight. We are very excited, but a little nervous also. The game starts at 9pm, which is usually when she goes to bed for the night, so we may have a little trouble. Either way, it will be fun for a little while. Honestly, I don't even know if I can last for the entire game...and I really don't want to battle the traffic jam at the end of the game. Blah! I will be one of the few in the University of Virginia arena cheering for the loathed Duke team. Well...Let's Go Duke!

I completely understand the inner-struggle of watching our babies "grow" up. While you want to celebrate their milestones, you also want to bundle them up and keep them in the stage they are now. Hang in there!! While it is hard, you will see how WONDERFUL each new stage is. Thinking of you guys!!
