Hello folks! A friend from Colorado helped me get started with this blog page and I am excited about it. The first thing I want to do is get people's opinions on some pictures. I want to enter Annelise into a picture contest, but cannot decide which photo to use. Please let me know what picture you like best and why. I plan to update this page regularly (and it won't always be about Annelise!) I appreciate your help in this!

What is that bump???
No, she didn't hit her head on anything, and I didn't whack her with a frying pan. The bump is a cyst that she was born with. It doesn't hurt her or bother her at all. If it doesn't grow into her hairline, we may have it removed some time down the road, but it isn't a big deal. My dad says that she is growing a horn and turning into a cow because she has been drinking too much milk.

Sister Lorena, your baby is absolutely beautiful!!! It is so amazing to see this precious person that the LORD has brought into this world through you and John. Amber and I will sent you some pictures of Judah (our son) soon. I love you alot sister; you are the closest person to being a sister blood sister that I have ever had! Thank you for the blog invite, and I'll be giving you a call sometime to see how you and John have been doing.

Hi Romeo, Annelise looks like her mother!!! Both are exceptionally beautiful. Seeing those picturea makes me miss you so much, and wish we were more a part of each other´s lives. What a cutie patootie!!!! She's quite the ham in front of the camera. My favorite is #1. I like her face in that one and the color of her outfit and duck. What proud parents you must be. Praise God for her health and strength. We love you and miss you! Bring her down for some south florida sun!

Hey lorena. It was so good to see you in November or December or whenever that was. I need to send you pictures of Christmas in Costa Rica. I took some new ones of Savegre just for you. Anyway, my vote is for #4. She's so cute, and I'm so glad I got to meet her. Soon I'll be a couple of states closer to you!

Annelise is so pretty. The pictures are beautiful. My favorite is number 9, though I am partial to numbers 1 and 5. You don't need to take my prejudice into account (her Mamita), because her cuteness is obvious to everyone.
Did you send to address to Cesare's family?
Papito had a hard time deciding between 1 and 3 but in the end #1 prevailed because she looks so mischevious. Being Papito I hated to have to vote because I like them all.
Now I am more confused. I really like numbers 5 & 9. Unfortunately, her head is cut off in #5 and her "horn" really shows up in # 9. I think #4 got the most votes, followed closely by numbers 1 & 6. I just don't know what to do. It really isn't the end of the world though. I just have a hard time with decisions--especially at restaurants. Please feel free to make more comments. I will let everyone know when I make a decision. Thanks for all of the great info so far.

Well, I must say that I am little embarrased to give info about the contest. This is not something that I would normally do, but it has been fun. It has given me a project to work on while I stay home with Annelise. I occasionally watch Live with Regis and Kelly. They have been promoting this "Beautiful Baby" contest. I know there is a minimal chance that we will win, but it is exciting to try. It also makes for a good first blog conversation. (Is that redundant?)
The other fun fact about the contest is that the winner will have his/her picture on the cover of Parenting magazine. Because of this, you can imagine the volume of photos being sent in. I think this is the 4th year they have done this contest and they have received over 4 million photos over the 4 years. (I am pretty sure that is what they said.)
So those are the details. Slim chance, but good entertainment.
Hello hello! Glad to see you doing this. It will keep me up to date on the latest pictures. Sorry it's taken me so long to get here, but I was prevented. I like number 4 the most. There is such a sweet simple look, doesn't look posed or prodded to smile. Will be interested to see which you choose. As for the resturant, haven't you heard? It's chicken!!!
