Yeah, 2nd/3rd weeks of October were best for fall colors & apples! I hope you're enjoying Red & Golden Delicious & Jonathans & Galas &....I better stop! :)
Have you guys been up Old Rag yet? Or White Oak Canyon falls? My favorite hikes back there!
We always love seeing the new photos of the kids. Thanks for sharing! We loved being with John and the little ones for Fall Break in Gatlinburg. What a treat! We missed you, Lorena, while you were attending the wedding of your good friend. Love, Coco and Doodad
Lorena-I miss those Shenandoah Valley apple stands! The sweet aroma of rows & rows of bushels of apples! Free cider on a day as cold & crisp as a Golden Delicious with just a blush of red on one side...sigh....
What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said : "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God and they will be my people." 2 Corinthians 7:5

John has been to Old Rag, but I haven't. I don't think we've been to the canyon falls either. We should check that out.
I did make a delicious apple pie last week. Lots of yummy apples for sale on the side of the road.

Annelise is starting young. It's a wonder they didn't card her.
Great pictures! I love the one from Skyline Drive. They are the cutest kids and are the spitting image of the two of you.
